Job Description

A General Manager of Human Resources (GM HR) is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of an organization's human resources functions. This includes developing and implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations, ensuring legal compliance, and driving talent management initiatives. The GM HR also plays a crucial role in shaping organizational culture and aligning HR functions with the overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities of a GM HR:
Developing and Implementing HR Strategies:

  • Creating and executing HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Developing and managing HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
  • Overseeing the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
  • Managing the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Developing and implementing training and development programs.
  • Identifying and addressing talent gaps within the organization.
Employee Relations:
  • Managing employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.

Strategic HR Planning:

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role.

  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and employment law.
  • Experience with HR systems and databases.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
