The organization is focused on developing, constructing, and financing utility-scale wind and hybrid power projects, with a collective experience of over 5000 MW in commissioned capacity and a goal of achieving 2 GW in the near term.This role is integral to the companys growth strategy and involves working with a team of seasoned professionals in a collaborative, diverse, and performance-driven environment.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development

  • Develop and manage relationships with Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
  • Drive market intelligence and competitor analysis.
  • Identify new business opportunities in the renewable energy space.
  • Participate in project bidding processes, including preparation and submission of documentation.
  • Regularly interact with central agencies such as SECI, NTPC, NHPC for business development initiatives.
Regulatory Affairs
  • Engage with key regulatory authorities including CERC, CTU, MoP, MNRE, CEA, and SERCs.
  • Monitor and interpret policies, regulations, and orders relevant to the renewable energy sector.
  • Maintain an updated understanding of net metering, open access, and related acts impacting RE projects.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation such as compendiums of tariff orders and RE-specific policies across various states.
Strategic Advisory
  • Provide inputs to the senior management team to guide business decisions based on regulatory trends and opportunities.
  • Advise on the strategic attractiveness of different Indian states from a regulatory perspective.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Represent the organization in regulatory proceedings before SERCs, CERC, APTEL, and other statutory bodies.
  • Coordinate meetings and engagements with regulatory and executive authorities to gain clarity on policies and influence project development.
  • Prepare petitions, presentations, and policy advocacy documents for regulatory submissions.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with SECI, CERC, CTU, CEA, MNRE, and MoP is essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and online bidding portals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multinational corporate environment is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze regulatory policies and translate them into actionable business insights.
