Major Job Responsibilities: - Provides functional expertise and support for Industrial Engineers all regions for FS products - Develop and Maintain IE procedures and standards - Develop and Maintain Manufacturing System Design (MSD) supporting Value Proposition Projects (VPIP), Tech Roadmap, F30& PLS Projects - support Manufacturing Footprint activities (floorspace planning) - support lean equipment strategies and material handling development regarding devices installed and internal packaging Design in Manufacturing plants - Lead Method Lab simulations and/or plant mock ups - support System development regarding correct comprehension of Ergonomics - Maintain long term global capacity utilization & planning for Fuel handling & Canister - support AR development - Participate in ME equipment and System reviews, support project gate reviews for new Projects - support plant and operations for continues improvement - support plant Launch activities, and Gap closure problem solving if is required it (SPQVC) - Provide VSM guidance and training - support machine qualifications - support and Provide HC, Labor, sequence flow, and capacity analysis for plant pursuits Major Job Qualifications/Specific Skills: Required: Bachelor\'s degree in industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering Design, develop, and implement manufacturing systems through effective integration and balance of people, machines, material, safety, and information to maximize operational efficiency. Autocad, Solid Works, or equivelent design software tools Available for international and domestic travel up to 30% Available for periodic non-traditional working hours Bilingual with English reading / writting 90% and Speaking 80% Profiecient oral and written presentation skills Proficient with Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint Organized ( Capable to manage multiple projects at a time) Self motivation initiative, Team work, results oriented Knowledge of Value Stream Design and Lean Strategies Knowledge and practical use of Egonomic risk assesment methods Working knowledge of DFME and PFMEA Experience in Equipment and Manufacturing System development Preferred: Manufacturing and Plant Production knowledge and experience Experience specifically in automotive industry International working experience Team leadership either formal or informal Formal Problem solving certification ( Robust Engineering, Red-X ) #LI-JC4 Global Terms of Use and Privacy Statement Carefully read the BorgWarner Privacy Policy before using this website.
