Further information can be found at www.st.com JOB DESCRIPTION ( A POSITION IN THE GLOBAL SHARED SERVICE TEAM ) Prepare payment proposals based on strict compliance to the agreed frequency and timing with Legal Entities (\'LEs\'). Send payment proposals to relevant Local Finance personnel for review and approval and ensure inputs from Local Finance are updated in a timely manner. (Local Treasury in Italy / USA/ Asia Finance). Send all approved payments to bank signatories in a timely manner and ensure all payments are authorized in a timely manner in accordance with Service Level Agreement (\'SLA\') with LE\'s (Legal Entity). Ensure inter-company and external vendor/customer AP/AR net-off are captured in the system. Increase the adoption of electronic payments to replace cheque issuance and other automation projects. Identify and resolve payment issues and escalate to Payment Processing Team Lead, if required. Assist Payment Processing Team Lead in the update of relevant SOPs when there are changes to the process. Manage Audits, SOX compliances concerning Payments. Prepare and manage SAP Payment Proposals on behalf of ST Legal Entities Qualification Graduate in Accounting or Business/Finance or MBA. 3 to 8 years of relevant working experience Knowledge of Treasury Payments Process Prior Shared Service Centre Experience Skills Required Experience in managing Accounts Payable in SAP Experience in shared service environment Excellent command over written and spoken English. Proficient in MS Office applications Good communication skills and a positive working attitude Able to multi-task, meticulous and a good team player
