Job Description


Summary Build and deploy Middleware Platforms and solutions around them to support technology-enabled business strategies and operations anywhere and anytime while constantly increasing agility and scalability.
10+ years of experience in working with middleware and IPaaS technologies of a leading vendor in that space.
Experience with hyper converged infrastructure platforms Experience in both on-prem and cloud deployment of workloads.
Experience in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Experience in Service Management or Engineering of a global service portfolio in similar areas as above, across geographies and business areas.
Track record in delivering on time, quality and budget.

Major accountabilities:

  • Design, Build, and Deploy Middleware Solutions Architect, implement, and maintain Middleware platforms to support business and application needs.
  • Ensure Reliable Service Delivery and Operations Oversee the effective delivery and operational health of Middleware platforms, including JBoss, Apache, and WebLogic.
  • Provide Best-in-Class Middleware Support Support Middleware platform technologies across the organization, ensuring seamless integration and enablement for application teams adopting these technologies.
  • Maintain Operational Excellence Adhere to standardized design, development, and deployment processes to optimize cost-effective delivery. Oversee platform security, lifecycle management, reliability, and performance.
  • Lead 24x7 Operational Oversight Provide strategic direction and oversight for Middleware operations, coordinating with internal teams and external technical partners to ensure availability and resilience.
  • Ensure IT Governance and Compliance Uphold compliance with IT governance frameworks, security policies, standards, and best practices to mitigate risk and enhance operational efficiency.
Key performance indicators:
  • Stable, compliant, secure and cost-effective operations measured by Availability, Performance, Capacity Metrics along with continuous cost reductions YOY
  • Services are managed within SLA/OLA KPIs
  • Learning Agility, Ability to evaluate and launch new services & capabilities
  • Productivity gains and defect reduction through continuous improvement
  • Process and compliance setup is applied and adhered
