Role Overview
As a
GSOC Operator / Analyst
, you will be at the heart of our Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC), monitoring threats, responding to incidents, and ensuring business continuity for a global client. This role demands vigilance, quick decision-making, technical competence, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Threat Monitoring & Surveillance
Monitor security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms, incident management tools).
Use platforms such as Genetec, ServiceNow, Ontic, and Everbridge for integrated threat monitoring.
Identify and escalate potential risks, anomalies, or suspicious activity.
2. Incident Response & Escalation
Act as the first responder to incidents in line with global SOPs.
Escalate issues to relevant stakeholders and dispatch ground teams when required.
Maintain accurate incident logs and support investigations.
3. Emergency Operations
Assist in fire, evacuation, lockdown, or medical emergency protocols.
Coordinate with emergency services and ensure timely response.
4. Technology Oversight
Perform daily system health checks (CCTV, badge readers, alarms, FACP panels).
Report and follow up on equipment faults with technical teams.
5. Intelligence & Reporting
Track regional and global threats; share intelligence updates with stakeholders.
Generate reports on incidents, trends, and SLA compliance.
Provide video retrievals, badge audits, and analytical support for investigations.
6. Communication & Coordination
Handle emergency and non-emergency calls professionally.
Liaise with global security teams, C-suite executives, and law enforcement as required.
Candidate Profile
Education
Graduate in Security Management, Information Technology, Criminology, or a related field.
Certifications such as CPP, PSP, APP (ASIS) are advantageous.
Experience
Minimum 1 year in GSOC/Command Centre operations.
2+ years in monitoring-based operations or customer service.
Prior work with multinational clients preferred.
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with:
