Job title: Global Procurement Category Analyst - 12 month Contract
Location: Mumbai

The role:
As a Procurement Category Analyst you will help drive our goals by:Conducting analyses on spend data/researching trends Assisting Global Category Lead / Global Strategic Sourcing & Supply Managers by conducting supply market research Updating key market indices Assisting in spend data analysis and financial analyses Comparing spend, prices and performance across sectors and sites Assisting in preparing monthly procurement performance status reports Upholding internal and external policies, regulations, and law Liaising with procurement staff at all levels to support development of category plans

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:Degree qualified (preferably finance, business, or engineering) and/ or experience in Automotive, FMCG or Chemical procurement Experience of financial analysis, product costing and/or engineering experience (research experience a plus) Familiarity with purchasing and supply chain Excellent analytical (particularly financial) skills and ability to bridge financial data Experience leading sizeable and geographically dispersed teams. Knowledge of products/services and associated processes
