Accountabilities
Global Business Consultant

  • Consult with business process owners to understand and drive the business strategy within the business process areas of Customer & Vendor Identity (Business Partner)
  • Ensure the future set of programs/ projects are prioritized by business leaders and mapped against the business strategy
  • Provide business process leadership and expertise to challenge, support, enable and improve business performance
  • Translate business change needs into an IT environment and vice-versa, being a conduit between the business and IT in ensuring smooth delivery governance of process, data and system changes
  • Identify changing business requirements and opportunities resulting from situational changes (e.g. new regulations, business situations or data insights) to shape new business processes
  • Own one or more framework(s) (design box) through which the Design Authorities assess compliance with the global process standards
  • Champion a global business process management approach with a consistently applied set of methods, tools and techniques
  • Ensure changes to Business Partner data & processes and tools are aligned to supporting process areas to provide a transparent end-to-end operating model
  • Design agile and sustainable processes to support the introduction of new business models
Identity specific
  • Analyze existing customer and vendor management processes and design optimized business processes leveraging the Business Partner model
  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for implementing the Business Partner concept, plan for system integration and data harmonization
  • Coordinate with Master Data team and regional functional analysts to validate country and regional business change requests and bring them to the relevant Design Authority
  • Oversee the migration of legacy customer and vendor data to the Business Partner model, create roadmaps for data cleansing, harmonization, migration and process transition
  • Develop change management strategies to facilitate adoption of new identity models across the organization
  • Create comprehensive documentation for new identity related processes, design and deliver training programs for end-users and operational teams
  • Drive continuous improvement together with operational teams and stay updated with new features related to Business Partners and identity
  • Collaborate with various departments (e.g. Finance, HR, Procurement, etc.) to ensure alignment; manage expectations from different stakeholders on identity related matters
  • Ensure that Business Partner processes comply with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR), help in the implementation of appropriate controls and governance structures on data privacy
  • Act as a liaison between business users and IT support teams for issues related to the Business Partner model and identity
Qualifications
Critical knowledge & Experience
This includes experience/familiarity with particular processes or systems, dealing with certain products or services, and/or the experience of dealing with others - both internally and externally.
  • >10 years experience in business process management
  • International experience working with large multinationals
  • University degree in a commercial / business or technical / IT subject
  • Expertise in process design methodologies and techniques
  • Expertise in business process management and value stream mapping
  • Experience in working with IT companies & in-house IT departments
  • Know-how about Agile & Operational Excellence is a plus
  • Shows insight in identifying core issues in complex business problems
  • Uses data, logical analysis and insight to pinpoint the underlying issues
  • Articulates goals based on an understanding of capability and readiness to change
  • Communicates an in-depth understanding of the current and future challenges faced by the organization and the drivers of change
  • Sells value-adding concepts and solutions to business leaders to transform the organization
  • Adapts communication style and content to the needs of the audience
Manages complex relationships across business sectors
