The primary responsibility of the Global Digital Support Engineer is the onboarding of customer onto our customer data portals, through the development of models and mapping of customer datasets. The role holder will be an integral part of the Syngas Technical Service team; supporting our customer facing engineers and digital team as we seek to role out our digital developments across the syngas customer base. They will also retain accountability for overseeing the implantation roadmap; charting the customer onboarding progress and collating KPIs/analytics on the usage of our digital portals. In addition to their responsibilities pertaining to our digital developments they will also support our customer facing engineers across the global team, processing data from customer plants and using modelling tools to prepare reports around catalyst performance. They will apply technical understanding and knowledge of the CT product portfolio to solve a range of problems and provide recommendations on how to optimise operations.
Your responsibilities:Maintain roadmap for onboarding targets for our LEVO digital portal across the syngas, hydrogen and refinery purification customer base.
Conduct data analytics and track KPIs regarding digital portal usage, providing insights to regional TSE teams for their engagement with customers.
Onboard new customers onto our portals including model development, customer mapping and validation.
Train regional LEVO superusers/product experts, enabling the local teams to support customers in direct interactions.
Part of the Digital Product Sync team, reviewing targets and implementation of our digital strategy.
Run engineering models to generate performance estimates and recommendations for optimisation.
Data processing and data analysis to ensure we are extracting as much knowledge as possible from the data we have available; working within existing frameworks and procedures
Requirements for the role:Degree in chemical engineering
Project Management Experience
Communication skills: verbal and written; ability to present complex ideas effectively to senior stakeholders
Understanding of the Catalyst Technologies market place
1-2 years' experience in a Chemical Engineering/data processing/modelling role
Background in catalysts, absorbents, chemicals and/or additives
