This role is integral to the Strategic Portfolio Management team to ensure clear visibility, governance and tracking of all resource demand across WPP IT Transformation. The role holder will provide holistic overview reporting of resource demand, allocation, pipeline and tracking as part of wider governance and control within Strategic Portfolio Management. You will gather project/programme resource demand, monitoring the resource requirements of inflight strategic programmes and working with Global PMO, Global Strategic Delivery and Talent Acquisition to consolidate, track and allocate resource across WPP IT to meet demand. The role will involve building close relationships with key stakeholders, notably Strategic Portfolio Delivery, HR, Talent Acquisition, WPP IT Transformation Programme Directors and WPP IT archetype teams. Reporting to the WPP IT Transformation Global PMO Lead, the role holder will work closely with multiple stakeholders to inform sourcing strategies and investment decisions to meet long term demand. What you'll be doing:

• Coordinate and track resourcing allocation across WPP IT Transformation to match portfolio demand, working across platform and capability teams, Archetype Teams and others as necessary to align resources to prioritised demand
• Feed data into Portfolio Leads, Product and Delivery teams to inform investment and sourcing decisions
• Inform sourcing strategies for longer term resourcing actions (driven by WPP IT Transformation agenda)
• Act as gatekeeper and trusted point of contact for WPP IT Transformation resource requests, managing and maintaining a 'front door' to gather resource requests in a consistent manner
• Supporting the management of WPP IT Transformation PMO & Value Assurance and Strategic Portfolio Management activity
• Building forward facing view of programme resource demand, by programme, role, geography
• Critiquing new resource demand request submissions and preparing for internal review and alignment with Strategic Delivery
• Review and resolution of conflicting resource needs, considering prioritisation and budgetary parameters
• Coordinate resource requirements and recruitment requests with Talent Acquisition (post Strategic Delivery assessment) to drive timely resource allocation to meet demand.
• Monitoring inflight programme updates and understanding resource impacts
• Tracking resource investment, seeking ways to create savings
• Resource capability mix management (internal, external, contractor, functional cross charging and external 3rd party)
• Supporting the evolution of resource status visibility (e.g. dashboards)

• Good understanding of main WPP business processes, organisation and markets
• Operational experience of managing resource demand and allocation on a global scale
