Job Your role An exciting techno functional opportunity is available in GEAC (Group Entity and Accounting Control) in which the candidate will be responsible for: Responsibility is to drive and establish new processes and various process improvement initiatives without or with automation (strategic IT solutions or through tactical end user applications). Represent Global Daily Balance Sheet (GDBS) Team in various IT & Operation discussions / Forums for this process set-up. . able to understand as-is business process and suggest / design effective business process that effectively operate across different departments incorporating the various controls in different part of the process. Expected to be actively lead projects and re-engineering initiatives. . present, refine the target operating model and persuade stake holders. . managing the change management as Finance Representative of IT tools which includes prioritization of change requests, testing of changes and signing of releases. . helping the team implement a best practice control environment surrounding the Daily Balance Sheet processes. . identifying and driving process re-engineering and constantly challenge status quo for control improvement and process efficiency. . mange the completion and delivery of the tasks allocated and ensure the compliance of KPIs and SLAs. . review and update policies and procedures and ensure that these are appropriately implemented. . establishing and maintaining effective working relationship with key stakeholders across. Your team You\'ll be working in the GEAC (Group Entity and Accounting Control) team is part of Group Accounting team in Hyderabad, India Your expertise . university degree or equivalent qualification (preferably MBA Finance / IT / CA or similar) . at least 15+ years with deeper understanding of business processes (Investment Banking and/or Wealth Management preferred) with curiosity and drive in building solutions. . expected to be self-starter i.e., ability to start and operate autonomously. . demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-year initiatives and experience in handling architecture, technical and functional aspects of the project. . hands on experience in closely working with Senior stake holders. Excellent presentation/communicate skills. Fluent in English (written/verbal). . prefer to have experience in setting up Policy and control framework in Banking/Finance industry. Hands on experience in documentation. . general knowledge in accounting, of financial products and Financial Systems . able to understand complex IT systems, data flows to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data.
