About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs \xe2\x80\x93 Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. The Commercial & Corporate Affairs unit also supports BioPharma global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders.

We conduct anonymised patient data analysis and drive analytical projects and processes to support brand teams, new product planning teams and senior management in strategic decision making. The position

As a Global Customer Insights Manager, you will drive analysis in longitudinal patient level databases which contain billions of records, using SAS/SQL, R, Python or similar programming tools. From the patient level analysis, you will generate insights and lead projects that provide strategic and tactical recommendations for key brands in diabetes, obesity, CVD as well as other therapeutic areas with a specific process responsibility for Visualization of LRx data available in-Patient Data Warehouse (PADAWA), building out new analyses on the patient data visualization platform.

You will be responsible for supporting the development of Business Intelligence platform in SAS, integrating, and aligning data from various data sets to facilitate strong analytical capabilities for the team. You will be supporting situational analysis process for prioritized products, which feeds into the brand strategy process by ensuring efficiency and drive optimisation of global insights and analytics project execution \xe2\x80\x93 including visualization of data.

Provide and engage in robust decision-making support to Brands and Management by providing recommendations for management strategic decision making, based on analysis and impactful communication of insights derived from secondary data \xe2\x80\x93 and collaborate with department colleagues to integrate primary data insights in analyses. You will support and optimize key processes in the department, such as Situational Analysis (SiTA) and brand partner meetings as well as being a key driver of the PADAWA data visualization platform development

You will establish and maintain business partnership with key stakeholders which involves interaction with key brands, affiliates/regions, and management in support of decision-making and strategy development at brand, portfolio, and corporate level, to ensure alignment and successful attainment of common targets.

Finally, you are highly motivated to work in a small team that covers multiple functions (from data governance to data visualisation and presentation). The role requires a combination of strong analytical, programming and project management skills.

You need to possess the following skills to be successful in this position.

  • Knowledge of working on LRx, APLD patient datasets by IQVIA, SHI etc.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, SQL, Python, Dataiku.
  • Exposure to data Visualisation platforms like Qlik sense, Power BI & Tableau.
Required Qualification
  • Bachelor of Engineering/Technology, MBA, M.Sc. in Computational Science and Mathematics, statistics, finance or relevant natural science background (area of emphasis in Statistics).
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Good programming and data management skills (preferably SAS, SQL, Python, Dataiku).
  • Dashboard development capabilities in Qlik Sense/Power BI/Tableau.
  • Experience in working with global teams an advantage.
  • Experience from the pharmaceutical industry an advantage \xe2\x80\x93 especially with patient-level analytics.
