The Opportunity

ISMG is seeking a full-time

Copy Editor

to join our

Global Copy Desk

. This role provides high-quality copy editing, proofreading, content creation, and business communication support for various internal departments and lines of business across the organization.



You will work with diverse content formats, including articles, abstracts, interviews, webinars, newsletters, and custom content. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about maintaining editorial excellence across all content touchpoints.

What You'll Be Doing

Editorial & Copy Desk Support:

Provide global editorial and copy desk services across ISMG's brands and business units, including editing, proofreading, fact-checking, and ensuring all content meets quality, accuracy, and brand standards before publication.

Content Development & Multimedia Editing:

Edit and proofread a wide range of content formats -- articles, interviews, webinars, newsletters, custom content, and more -- including transcribing and editing video/audio interviews, event sessions, and other multimedia content.

Content Strategy & Creative Collaboration:

Collaborate with editors, writers, and the creative team to plan and produce engaging content; coordinate illustrations or photos for layouts; and contribute to custom content initiatives, including ghostwriting.

Marketing & Internal Communications Support:

Support marketing and internal communication initiatives by creating, editing, and publishing content as needed across departments and lines of business.

Research & Continuous Learning:

Stay informed about industry trends, cybersecurity and technology developments, and evolving content best practices to ensure editorial excellence and relevance.

What You Bring to the Table

3-5 years of professional experience in copy editing, proofreading, or editorial roles Strong command of grammar, spelling, and style (especially AP Stylebook) Skilled at editing for clarity, tone, accuracy, and structure across diverse content formats Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), web publishing standards, and editorial workflows Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong general computer skills Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking abilities; able to meet tight deadlines Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working cross-functionally Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
