We are looking for Global Competitive Intelligence (CI) Manager in Corporate strategy & Corporate Affairs unit based out of Global Business Service (GBS), Bangalore, India. About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs, GBS unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. The Commercial & Corporate Affairs unit also supports Biopharm global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders.

The position

As a Global Competitive Intelligence Manager, you will be responsible for providing data driven assessment of competitive landscape within Novo Nordisk therapy areas.

You will be communicating the near-, medium- or long-term challenges and opportunities for Novo Nordisk Research & Development (R&D) and commercial strategy teams on project-, portfolio- and corporate levels.

You will drive the competitor monitor updates in collaboration with the CI team headquarter. Further, supporting & driving the preparation of high quality market research for key products, portfolios, and areas of interest on a country/regional or global level. Furthermore, support & drive the preparation of best-in-class customer insight analyses to senior management to enable strategic and operational decision making.

Additionally, you will be providing inputs to internal quarterly competition monitors, monthly competition newsletters on competitor developments within therapy area relevant to Novo Nordisk. Further, also responsible for covering competitor news from major scientific/clinical congresses, updating potential approvals and pipelines for the R&D projects as well as brands within NN therapy area.

You will be responsible to run quantitative and qualitative market research projects for main products, portfolios, and areas of interest on a global level (process responsibility lies in this role, content lies with the brand teams).

You will drive the efficiency and optimisation of market research projects execution and ensure high level of compliance on all aspects (sourcing, pharmaco-vigilance, affiliate approvals, documentation, and reporting etc).

This position requires you to be highly self-motivated, proactive, organised and have excellent collaboration and communication with stakeholders from the global NN organisation (Denmark and Bangalore).

Qualifications

Below are the required skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine or Life/Pharmaceutical Sciences, and/or with Master's degree in Business Administration/Pharmaceutical Management
  • 5+ years of working experience in the competitive intelligence and market research domain focusing on the pharmaceutical industry
  • Excellent communication skills in English and comfortable working with different cultures
