Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Supervision



Oversee all hand-blown glass production activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Plan, organize, and allocate daily tasks to glass blowers, assistants, and finishing staff. Monitor furnace temperatures, material usage, and equipment performance to maintain consistent production quality. Coordinate with design and product development teams to execute new prototypes and custom orders.

Quality Control



Inspect finished glass products for clarity, shape, color consistency, and structural integrity. Implement quality parameters and ensure all products meet Triumphal Star Pvt. Ltd.'s standards. Identify defects and guide artisans on corrective techniques.

Team Leadership & Training



Provide hands-on training in advanced hand-blown glass techniques to new and existing artisans. Ensure the team follows best practices in craftsmanship, handling tools, and production workflows. Motivate and mentor staff, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Safety & Maintenance



Enforce all safety protocols related to heat, furnaces, chemicals, and glass handling. Coordinate routine maintenance of furnaces, tools, blowpipes, annealing ovens, and other equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free workshop.

Inventory & Coordination



Manage raw material inventory including silica, colorants, molds, and fuel resources. Work with procurement to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials. Coordinate with the production manager for scheduling, reporting, and resource planning.

Reporting & Documentation



Maintain production logs, defect reports, and daily output records. Report workforce performance, equipment issues, and production challenges. Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce wastage.

Required QualificationsEducation & Experience



Diploma/Certificate in Glass Blowing, Fine Arts, Craftsmanship, or related field (preferred). 5-10 years of hands-on experience in hand-blown glass production. Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory or team-lead experience in a glass manufacturing or artisan workshop.

Skills & Competencies



Mastery of hand-blown glass techniques (gathering, shaping, coloring, molding). Strong understanding of furnace operation, annealing, and glass chemistry. Ability to read and interpret design blueprints. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Eye for detail and artistic precision.

Working Conditions



Heat-intensive workshop environment. Requires standing for long periods and handling hot materials. Use of protective gear as necessary.
