The Global Head, Document Management Platform, GDPP, Technology directly reports to the Global Head, Global Development, Pipeline & Portfolio Solutions who is leading the overall IT infrastructure and digital transformation for Sandoz Global Development and Pipeline & Portfolio. The role is accountable for Document Management Platform for Sandoz.

The role holder is handling Document Management Platform for all Sandoz business functions that use products/solutions/applications on Document Management Platform and is responsible for platform strategy, management, and delivery.

Your responsibilities include but not limited to :

• Take the full ownership of the platform and be responsi-ble for continuously improving it along the correspond-ing KPIs
• Define and implement technology delivery strategy for Document Management platform and systems . Partner with Business Facing Technology functions for solution proposal end evaluation
• Partner with relevant other Technology teams (Platforms & Architecture, Infrastructure) to ensure that the plat-form strategy adheres to Technology standards & gov-ernance .Ensure Document Management Platform ser-vices, solutions, products are fit for purpose and achieve the desired business value and impact
• Run efficient DevSecOps for products/solutions/systems ensuring availability and optimal performanceEnsure en-terprise-wide Solution Design & Architecture with en-hancing re-usability, configurability, and scalability
• Follow industry trends and emerging practices to drive agility, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Ensure the overall user experience is considered when designing and deploying new solutions and services. Hire, motivate, inspire, develop, and lead team
• Set appropriate KPIs for respective technology teams to incentivize both IT and business success
• Reprioritize budgets / teams based on emerging business priorities in regular agile budgeting sessions, jointly with Technology teams. Resolve trade-offs between teams within own domain; mediate between other domains.

Minimum Requirements

• 10 years+ of industry experience in IT, healthcare, or pharma; understanding of technology and methodologies as applied in the respective area. Multi-national global experience
• Functional experience with Document Management platforms, products, and solutions combined with build & run of Digital & IT solutions
• DevSecOps experience and full solution lifecycle understanding from idea to retirement
• Experience in people management (direct and indirect). Experience in leading large-scale projects handling diverse group of customers
• Experience and understanding of Agile product development. Deep knowledge of IT processes and experience in validated environments (GxP)
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, manage issues, resolve conflicts, and mitigate risks.
