We are looking for a GL Accountant to join our Finance team in Bangalore, reporting to the Supervisor, International Accounting. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment, help the company account for transactions and ensure compliance for a group of Infoblox entities. You will work closely with Payroll, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Tax, Outside consultants and HR teams. You will get to learn the regulatory environment and filing needs in a number of countries and an opportunity to apply the skills on various tasks and projects.

What you\'ll do:

• Monitor entries posted in the entity\'s ledger, ensure accuracy and relevance
• Close activities: Prepare Journal entries - Prepaid expenses, Fixed Assets Capitalization and Depreciation, Allocation, Accruals, Cash Management, Cost Plus, Tax, etc.,
• Reconciliation of Balance-sheet accounts, Transfer pricing entries, if applicable, Roll-forward statements for certain accounts, Accruals from different stakeholders, etc.,
• Ensure all IA/SOX controls are in place and testing process is managed on a periodic basis. Assist in process walk-throughs when required
• Prepare and explain all schedules associated with Statutory or Tax audit
• Flux analysis for key balance sheet accounts: Identify and explain trends
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders like Tax, Treasury, Payroll, HR and FP&A teams to ensure all financial/accounting activity is properly accounted and explained for
• Assist in the Compliance matters: Direct and Indirect Tax returns, Tax audits, Statutory statistical requests, Secretarial matters and other compliance items
• Inter-company accounting and reconciliations: Ensure proper and legal settlement on a periodic basis
• Act as the main point of contact to foreign subsidiaries for all financial matters, to identify and help resolve operational, financial and strategic issues that impact the Company
• Assist with tax provision, withholding taxes and advance tax calculations

What you\'ll bring:

• 2+ years of Finance/Accounting reporting experience
• Experience handling international accounting operations from SSC/COE
• Knowledge of US GAAP and or IFR
• Enterprise systems experience required, preferably on Oracle/SAP
• Results-oriented with an ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization, and \xe2\x80\x9croll-up the sleeves\xe2\x80\x9d in order to accomplish all necessary tasks
• Strong team player with the ability to complete projects and achieve objectives both independently and as part of the team
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Requires a high level of independence, accountability, teamwork, good judgement and attention to detail in a fast paced & rapidly changing environment
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance
• CPA/CA is a plus
• CA/CWA/ACS Inter and CMA candidates may apply

What success looks like:

After six months, you will\xe2\x80\xa6

• Be fully conversant with the regulatory environment for a group of entities in South Asia or EMEA regions
• Adept at using Oracle Fusion, both for operational activities like parking journal entries and running reports
• Handle all external and internal queries independently
• Understand the downstream and upstream impact of accounting estimates and positions.

After about a year, you will\xe2\x80\xa6

• Independently handle the Statutory and other ad-hoc audits for a group of entities
• Identify and implement process improvements across regional compliance and accounting activities
• Be a focal point of contact for IT to fix and implement Fusion related bugs or enhancements
• Drive entity specific projects from a Secretarial and tax perspective
• Focus on identifying and addressing the root cause of errors in account balances and help fix the
• Be encouraged to pursue training and certifications to help you be current with local accounting rules/pronouncements and be well versed with local tax compliances
