ob Title: GIS Engineer/ Survey CAD Designer/Draftsman.

Location: Hyderabad

Duties and Responsibilities:

Interpret and convert survey and topographic data into engineering CAD drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Open Roads Designer (ORD). Create and manage CAD-based topographical maps, base maps, terrain models, and thematic layers using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation. Work closely with civil engineers, highway designers, and planners to integrate data with design models. Develop, maintain, and analyse spatial datasets including roads, utilities, parcels, drainage, and contours. Conduct terrain modelling, surface creation, and corridor modelling using Open Roads Designer or Civil 3D. Manage and georeferenced raster imagery, LiDAR, drone data, and survey files. Support the preparation of as-built drawings, alignment sheets, right-of-way plans, and land acquisition plans. Perform quality checks on deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project standards and client requirements. Coordinate with field survey teams, civil designers, and analysts to ensure timely project delivery. Assist in automating workflows and data conversion processes between CAD/BIM environments.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Geography, or a related discipline. 2-5 years of experience in GIS and CAD-based drafting or design in infrastructure/transportation projects.

Required Skills and Software Proficiency:

AutoCAD -3D drafting, topographic plans, road alignment drawings MicroStation - Base mapping, plan production Open Roads Designer (ORD) - Corridor modelling, terrain & surface tools, quantity take-offs Exposure to Civil 3D ArcGIS / QGIS - Spatial data processing, map creation, coordinate transformations MS Excel / Word - Data handling and documentation Familiarity with survey file formats (e.g., CSV, SHP, DXF, DGN, LAS) and GIS coordinate systems (UTM, WGS84, etc.)

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

Experience with LiDAR data processing and point cloud integration. Exposure to Global Mapper, or Drone Deploy.

Pay: ₹144,391.70 - ₹600,000.00 per year
