Key Responsibilities:

Capture, manage, and analyze geospatial data from various sources such as satellite imagery, GPS, and field surveys Create, edit, and maintain maps, layers, and databases using GIS software (such as

ArcGIS

,

QGIS

,

AutoCAD Map

, etc.) Perform georeferencing, digitization, topology correction, and data validation Prepare thematic maps and spatial reports for internal teams or client deliverables Coordinate with survey teams and data collection personnel to ensure data accuracy and completeness Support project teams in integrating GIS data with MIS, ERP, or other business systems Troubleshoot GIS-related issues and provide technical assistance as required Ensure that data is maintained in accordance with project requirements and quality standards

Required Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in

GIS software

: ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms Good understanding of

spatial data formats, projections, and coordinate systems

Basic knowledge of

AutoCAD, GPS devices, and remote sensing

techniques Familiarity with

Excel

and database management tools (e.g., MS Access, SQL) Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in

Geography, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering

, or a related field Certification or training in

GIS applications

Experience:

0-2 years

of experience in GIS mapping, data processing, or related fields Freshers with relevant academic projects or internships are encouraged to apply
