Job Role: GIS Developer

We are looking for a technically strong GIS Developer to design, develop, and maintain geospatial applications, automation workflows, and spatial data systems. The role involves working on real-world GIS projects, web-based mapping solutions, and spatial analysis pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain GIS applications and workflows Perform spatial analysis and geoprocessing using ArcGIS Pro and QGIS Build automation scripts using Python (GeoPandas, Shapely, PyQGIS, ArcPy) Design and manage spatial databases using PostgreSQL / PostGIS Develop and integrate Web GIS applications (Leaflet / Mapbox preferred) Publish and manage geospatial services using GeoServer / ArcGIS Online Work with raster and vector data, satellite imagery, and large datasets Collaborate with research, analytics, and client-facing teams
Required Skills & Qualifications

Degree in Geoinformatics / GIS / Geography / Computer Science / Civil / Environmental Engineering Minimum 1 year of experience in GIS development or applied GIS projects Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and QGIS Hands-on experience with Python for GIS automation Experience working with PostgreSQL / PostGIS Understanding of Web GIS concepts
Preferred (Good to Have)

Experience with Leaflet, Mapbox GL JS, OpenLayers Exposure to Google Earth Engine or GeoAI workflows Knowledge of REST APIs and spatial web services Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP - basic level)
Job Details

Experience: Minimum 1 Year Salary Package: ?30,000 - ?45,000 per month
(Based on experience, skills, and interview performance)

Work Mode: Work From Office only Working Days: Monday to Saturday Location: Bangalore
