Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ESRI GIS Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of GIS principles, object-oriented programming, and extensive experience with ESRI ArcGIS and related products. This role involves developing solution architectures, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring the integrity and scalability of GIS solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop solution architectures that accurately translate business requirements into technology solutions, ensuring alignment throughout the lifecycle of changes.
Create, evaluate, and recommend solutions that incorporate business needs, technology, cost, scalability, and performance requirements.
Collaborate with the Architecture Center of Excellence (COE) to ensure compliance with enterprise architectural standards and future roadmaps.
Conduct continuous improvement analysis on existing applications and infrastructure to support evolving business requirements.
Liaise with Project Managers and Delivery teams to implement solutions within time and cost constraints, aiding in design, planning, and governance.
Lead development efforts, delegating responsibilities to developers and specialists to ensure timely project completion.
Provide guidance and coaching to architects, developers, and specialists throughout the design process.
Assess and articulate the impacts of solutions on the existing business and technical landscape.
Develop technology strategies to ensure compatibility with overall enterprise technologies.
Ensure the integrity of solutions throughout the development process.
Required Skills:
Required experience 10 years or above
Experienced GIS professional with a solid understanding of GIS principles.
Proficient in object-oriented programming development.
Experienced in Python development using ESRI ArcGIS.
Skilled in authoring maps in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Portal.
Familiar with developing ArcGIS Pro plugins.
Experienced with ArcGIS Enterprise and automating publishing services to the platform.
Familiar with ESRI products such as ArcGIS Workflow Manager and ESRI Data Reviewer.
Experience working with SQL Server databases.
Knowledgeable in creating ESRI network datasets and ESRI geolocators.
Proficient in GIS data analysis and GIS ETLs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, or a related field.
Proven experience in GIS architecture and development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers and specialists.
