Your RoleArchitecture & Design: Define end-to-end GIS architecture (ArcGIS Enterprise, geodatabases, services) for observability, availability, scalability, recoverability, security and deployability in compliance with functional and non-functional requirements. Technical Leadership: Guide development teams, provide architectural guidance, and ensure adherence to best practices and enterprise standards. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with PMs, business owners, and IT teams to translate complex business needs into geospatial solutions. System Integration: Design integration points with enterprise systems (APIs, databases, cloud) and non-Esri platforms. Data Governance: Define standards for spatial data modelling, visualization, quality, lifecycle, coordinate reference system, processing, transformation and security. Modernization: Lead migration from legacy systems to modern ArcGIS platforms. Automation & Strategy: Develop automation strategies, define GIS tech roadmaps, and support budget/planning. Your ProfileEsri Expertise: Deep knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, Server, Data Store), ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, REST APIs, and extensions (Workflow Manager, Data Reviewer), QGIS / MapInfo. Development: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript (for web apps), OOD, and scripting GIS workflows. Databases: Strong spatial database skills (PostgreSQL / Post-GIS, MS SQL Server). Cloud/Infrastructure: Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS / Azure) and enterprise IT integration. Analysis: Solid GIS analysis, network dataset creation and ETL skills.
