We are seeking an experienced GIS Architect with a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-grade GIS solutions. This role involves working with modern GIS platforms to build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems, while collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to deliver solutions aligned with business and operational needs. An

ESRI Technical Certification

is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and support high-availability ArcGIS Enterprise environments, including Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server (multiple server roles), and ArcGIS Data Store (relational, tile, and spatiotemporal).

Architect, administer, and govern ArcGIS Online environments, including security, users, groups, and content lifecycle management.

Lead the development, configuration, and governance of Web GIS applications, such as ArcGIS Dashboards, StoryMaps, and Experience Builder.

Define overall GIS system architecture, including capacity planning, performance optimization, backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring.

Collaborate with project managers and clients to gather technical requirements, provide architectural guidance, and recommend optimal, cost-effective solutions.

Participate across the full project lifecycle, from requirements and solution design to deployment, testing, and post-implementation support.

Oversee system integration, data migration, and cloud-based GIS deployments, ensuring alignment with project and organizational standards.

Provide technical leadership, establish best practices, and produce clear architecture and operational documentation.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure reliable, scalable, and well-governed GIS solutions.

Required Skills

Candidates must hold a valid ESRI Technical Certification (Enterprise or Professional level)

Minimum

10 years

of experience in

enterprise GIS

.

Strong expertise across the ESRI ArcGIS platform, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Dashboards, and ArcGIS StoryMaps.

Proven experience in architecting and supporting high-availability GIS environments in enterprise or large-scale deployments.

Solid understanding of cloud and infrastructure platforms (AWS and/or Azure), including system deployment, performance tuning, backup, and monitoring.

Strong background in enterprise spatial data management, including SQL Server and Oracle, spatial data modelling, versioned geodatabases, and data governance.

Working knowledge of scripting and automation to support administration, integration, and operational efficiency.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex GIS systems and applications.

Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical architectures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
