Garudalytics invites passionate GIS Analysts .

We are seeking local candidates (preferred) with strong expertise in geospatial data processing and mapping.

Important Requirement:

Immediate joiners preferred Maximum notice period: 10 days Candidates must be able to join before 1st October 2025
Roles & Responsibilities: o Extract and digitize 2D features from high-resolution satellite imagery. o

Create & update GIS layers (roads, buildings, LULC, water bodies, infrastructure). o Manage GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and quality control.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on diverse geospatial projects. o Generate maps, reports, and metadata for project delivery.
Required Skills: o Proficiency in QGIS (mandatory); knowledge of ArcGIS is an added advantage.

Experience in digitization, spatial analysis & georeferencing of large datasets. o Knowledge of satellite imagery interpretation and thematic mapping. o Familiarity with QC standards & GIS data management best practices. Strong understanding of coordinate systems and projections.
Qualification: Diploma / Graduate / Postgraduate in Geography, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or related fields.

Experience: o Minimum 2 years professional experience in GIS. o Experience in urban geospatial projects / master planning is preferred
