Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Girls Hostel Warden to oversee the daily operations of our girls' hostel. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality management skills and a passion for providing a safe and nurturing environment for our residents. The Warden will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of all girls in the hostel while fostering a positive community atmosphere.

Duties

Supervise and manage the daily activities of the hostel, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all residents. Address any concerns or issues raised by residents promptly and effectively, maintaining open lines of communication. Organize and facilitate community-building activities, promoting engagement among residents. Maintain accurate records of resident check-ins, check-outs, and any incidents that occur within the hostel. Collaborate with staff to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the hostel facilities. Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families, addressing inquiries with professionalism. Handle front desk operations, including managing multi-line phone systems and guest relations. Assist in night audits as necessary, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements

Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse residents. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest services and guest relations. Familiarity with phone etiquette and experience managing multi-line phone systems is essential. Previous hotel or resort experience is a plus, particularly in front desk operations or night audit roles. Ability to foster a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining discipline within the hostel environment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage records efficiently.
