Job Description

A Girls Hostel Warden supervises the hostel's daily operations, focusing on the safety, welfare, and discipline of female residents, and serves as a point of contact between students, parents, and the administration. Key duties include maintaining safety, hygiene, and discipline, managing staff, addressing student concerns, organizing recreational activities, handling emergencies, and overseeing hostel records and facilities. Key Responsibilities

Safety & Well-being:

Ensure the overall safety, security, and well-being of students by monitoring their behavior, promoting a healthy and hygienic environment, and responding to emergencies.

Discipline & Rules:

Enforce hostel rules and regulations, monitor student conduct, and address disciplinary issues promptly.

Community Building:

Foster a positive and supportive community by organizing social, cultural, and recreational programs and facilitating interactions among residents.

Administration & Operations:

Oversee daily operations, manage hostel facilities, supervise housekeeping and maintenance staff, and maintain relevant records.

Communication:

Act as a liaison between students, parents, guardians, and hostel administration, conveying important information and addressing concerns.

Health & Hygiene:

Promote good hygiene practices, monitor cleanliness, and coordinate with medical authorities or organize health-related activities.

Emergency Response:

Develop and implement evacuation procedures and provide assistance during emergencies such as fires, natural disasters, or medical crises.

Record Keeping:

Maintain records of attendance, grievances, and other relevant information.
