Oversee the daily functioning of the hostel for girls/boys, ensuring safety, discipline, and cleanliness.
Act as the primary point of contact for hostel-related issues and student concerns.
Ensure students follow hostel rules and institute regulations.
Supervise hostel activities, including attendance, study hours, lights-out, etc.
Provide first-line support in case of emergencies or health issues.
Maintain proper records related to hostel occupancy, incidents, and student behaviour.
Coordinate with institute administration, faculty, and medical staff for student welfare.
Address grievances of students while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanour.
Organize and supervise hostel events and cultural activities when required.
Requirements
:
Graduate in any discipline (Preference may be given to candidates with experience in hostel management or education sector).
Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a defence, military, or boarding school environment.
Strong interpersonal, administrative, and communication skills.
Ability to handle young students with patience, empathy, and firmness.
Willingness to reside full-time within the institute premises.
