Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Gift Shop Manager to oversee daily store operations, manage staff, and ensure an excellent shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations of the gift shop, ensuring smooth functioning. Supervise, train, and schedule shop staff. Ensure high standards of customer service and handle guest queries or complaints. Manage inventory, stock replenishment, vendor coordination, and purchase orders. Maintain proper display, merchandising, pricing, and cleanliness of the store. Monitor sales performance, prepare daily/weekly sales reports, and meet revenue targets. Implement sales strategies, promotions, and seasonal offers to increase footfall. Handle billing, cash management, and POS operations. Conduct regular stock audits and maintain accurate records. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and loss-prevention procedures. Forecast demand for popular items and suggest new product ranges. Coordinate with hotel/resort departments for guest requirements, events, or gifting needs.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Retail Management, Business, or similar field preferred. 2-5 years of retail experience; gift shop or boutique experience is an advantage. Strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills. Knowledge of inventory control, merchandising, and sales reporting. Proficiency in POS systems and basic accounting. Creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
