The role forms part of GFT Strategic Ledger transformation testing Team in Pune who have responsibility to develop test plans, automate test scripts and test cases that adhere to technical and business requirements. Having sound knowledge and experience in Manual Testing , Automation testing , SQL, Automation Framework Implementation and CI/CD implementation. Responsibilities: Understand and validate system requirements for new and existing solutions. Work closely with development and product management activities to derive and interpret complex use cases to create the appropriate test plans and test cases. Develop test plans, automated test scripts and test cases that adhere to technical and business requirements. Execute complex Black box functional and regression tests and document overall results. Categorize new and existing defects for recommendation for future releases. Provide test metrics around the results of executed testes. Work with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple products/ Projects. Provide release readiness recommendations based on test execution and defect metrics. Will be responsible for writing test plans, test cases, executing test cases, logging defects. Responsible for designing and developing high quality automated tested at integration/system level. Responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing automated test suite. Drive automation of test cases to reduce repetitive test case execution. Continuous improvement of the testable automated code to make it reliable and fast. Responsible for identifying any test gap if exists during verification of the product. Experience in financial / Banking sector would be an advantage. Prepare test data for DEV, Integration and Production Environments. Collaborate with business team to discuss on the test plans, test cases and defects and enhance the regression suite to meet all the future release requirements. Implement CI/CD and maintain the test releases. Prefer candidate with Tosca commander and Tosca DI background. Qualifications: 2-5 years Quality Assurance (QA) experience in the Financial Service industry preferred 5+ Years of experience in software or IT covering Finance Technology in Banking or Financial Industry. Strong knowledge in Manual Testing , Automation testing , SQL, Automation Framework Implementation, CI/CD implementation. Prefer to have knowledge on Tosca Commander and Tosca DI tool. Strong experience in Jira and experience on agile methodology is must. Focused and determined in getting the job done right. Ability to identify and manage key risks and issues.
