• Be part of Strategic team and contribute in automation QA space for development, enhancement, support and maintain solutions for GFT Finance Services Automation Platform (FINSAP).

GFT Finance Services Automation platform is a global application in Global Functions Technology built for providing low code automation services. The application is built for Finance and Risk Shared Services (FRSS) global team to automate thousands of manual processes that are required to complete as part of month-end close process. Application will be integrated with numerous finance applications to send and receive data and ultimately will allow FRSS Power Users to participate in workflow development and process modeling.

This data repository is built on Enterprise Standards and anchored to the financials, for the use of Finance and Risk; regulatory and management reporting. The team is working on an exciting automation and simplification program, aligned with latest technologies. The Pune team is the global center for the creation of automation workflows. The volume and variety of data involved in these Finance and Risk Functions results in one of most challenging and appropriate use cases for low code automation technologies.

The specific global team you will be working with is responsible for building test automation Framework in a way to achieve automate first strategy, implement code quality, CICD automation and manage test automation book of work needed to enable EUC remediation, ELM, Integration, Platform, Workflow for regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Support Set up, Maintenance and Enhancement of test automation framework. Ensure 100% tools and Process adoption realized.
• Ownership of end-to-end test automation of applications including automation strategy design, requirements understanding, test planning, test script development, test execution, results analysis and sign off.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and deploying automation frameworks across server, UI, API.
• Improves quality of applications and user satisfaction by minimizing the number of defects that go into UAT and production, test processes and perform data validation

• Act as Key team player to ensure routine tasks automation for maximum development operations efficiency.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge and skills across multiple applications to provide technical oversight.
• Review and analyze proposed technical solutions
• Partners with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate test automation scripts in place to meet goals; identifies and defines necessary framework enhancements.
• Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of applications programming.
• Develops standards for automation Framework coding, testing, debugging and implementation.
• Identification, analysis, ownership and resolution of repeat incidents leading to permanent resolution in the automation framework.
• Provide technical support to all automation teams ensuring that all relevant parties are kept advised of progress.
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements to existing processes, or definition of new processes/procedures and updating documentation as necessary.
• Willingness to learn new technologies & concepts, while being ready to dive deep into complex problems

Qualifications:

• 8 to 12 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience development / architecting automation frameworks for enterprise-level green field applications.
• Strong experience in core Java
• Strong experience in BDD/TDD framework development using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG etc.
• Experience in building tools, utilities to resolve complex validations.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Experience in UNIX/LINUX and Windows environment
• Experience in CI/CD Tools JIRA, BitBucket, Jenkins.
• Exposure to tools like Urban Deploy, RLM, Sonarqube, Container Service, Cloud, Kubernetes etc.
• Good to have advance java like spring boot, Stream API etc. is an added advantage
• Good to have exposure of SOAP or RESTFul web services, other test automation tools.
• Test automation experience on low code development is an added advantage.
