Job Description

To assist the mechanical maintenance team in maintaining and improving the reliability, performance, and safety of plant machinery through hands-on training and structured learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Learn and assist in the maintenance of mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, fans, conveyors, and utility systems. Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities under supervision. Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis during equipment breakdowns. Work with senior engineers in overhauling, repairing, and installation of mechanical components. Understand technical manuals, mechanical drawings, and standard maintenance procedures. Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities including checklists, logbooks, and failure reports. Maintain safe working practices and comply with safety and environmental guidelines. Learn and apply TPM, 5S, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
