Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

? Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery to identify

potential issues and address them proactively.

? Help to perform repairs and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to resolve

breakdowns and malfunctions promptly.

? Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to maximize equipment reliability

and minimize unplanned downtime.

? Collaborate with the production team to plan maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

? Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment

history records.

? Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

? Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in plant maintenance to enhance

efficiency and optimize equipment performance.

? Coordinate with external service providers and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks.

? Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during maintenance activities, including

lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

? Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

? Experience as a Plant Maintenance Engineer or a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.

? Certification in maintenance-related areas such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) is

preferred.

? Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and standards related to plant maintenance, such as ISO 9001 & IATF 16949.

? Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices.
