Key responsibilities include analyzing customer requirements, designing tailored solutions, creating technical and commercial proposals, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring compliance with technical and commercial specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Technical Support:
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and offer technical expertise.
Provide technical consultation and support to customers on product capabilities and solutions.
Develop and present technical solutions and product demonstrations.
Proposal & Bid Management:
Analyze customer requirements and tender documents to develop technical and commercial proposals.
Perform cost estimations and prepare competitive bids for projects and tenders.
Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, sales, legal) to gather necessary information and ensure proposal compliance.
Project & Client Management:
Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, maintaining strong client relationships.
Participate in customer-facing meetings and provide technical guidance during installation and commissioning.
Track and follow up on submitted proposals and provide customer support during and after the sales cycle.
Technical Documentation:
Prepare technical proposals, including system design, cost estimations, and project timelines.
Maintain records of past proposals, quotations, and customer interactions.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is often required.
Experience:
Proven experience in tendering, proposal management, and/or application engineering within a specific industry is necessary.
Technical Acumen:
Strong technical knowledge of the company's products, services, and relevant industry standards.
