Job Description

Design and develop lesson plans tailored to the specific needs of students preparing for their studies in Germany. Create and update course materials that focus on practical communication skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Incorporate cultural elements into the curriculum to help students better understand German social norms, customs, and academic environments. Conduct interactive and engaging German language classes, with a focus on B2 level communication skills. Facilitate classroom discussions, role-plays, and real-life scenarios to enhance students' speaking and listening abilities. Provide personalized feedback to students, helping them improve their pronunciation, fluency, and comprehension. Assess students' language proficiency through regular quizzes, assignments, and oral exams. Monitor and track students' progress, providing additional support and resources as needed. Prepare students for any required language proficiency exams, ensuring they meet the speaking level requirements. Offer one-on-one tutoring sessions to address individual student needs and challenges. Provide guidance on language-learning strategies and resources for independent study. Advise students on how to adapt to the linguistic and cultural environment in Germany. Work closely with other tutors and staff to coordinate teaching schedules and share best practices. Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay updated on the latest teaching methodologies and materials. Collaborate with the study abroad team to ensure that language instruction aligns with students' academic and cultural preparation for studying in Germany.. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress. Prepare reports on student outcomes and course effectiveness for management review. Manage classroom logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with students.
