The German Class Coordinator oversees the smooth functioning of all German language batches. The role focuses on academic planning, trainer coordination, student management, and ensuring that learning resources and schedules are handled efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Batch Planning and Scheduling
Plan and launch new batches for A1 to B2 levels.
Prepare and maintain class timetables.
Coordinate schedule adjustments and ensure classes run without interruption.
2. Student Management
Manage registrations, orientation, and batch allocation.
Maintain attendance, track progress, and respond to student concerns.
Coordinate exam related guidance for Goethe and TELC students.
3. Trainer Coordination
Assign trainers for each batch.
Communicate class plans, updates, and material requirements.
Ensure trainers receive support for smooth delivery of sessions.
4. Resource and Material Management
Ensure availability of updated textbooks, worksheets, and exam prep materials.
Maintain inventory of German learning resources.
5. Quality Monitoring
Collect feedback from students and trainers.
Monitor teaching quality and escalate issues when required.
Support academic improvements for better student outcomes.
6. Communication and Administration
Share updates, class changes, notices, and exam information with students.
Maintain orderly documentation for batches, performance reports, and resources.
Coordinate with the front office and management on administrative needs.
7. Exam Preparation Support
Organize mock exams, speaking practice sessions, and exam readiness checks.
Track exam performance and maintain related records.
8. Event and Activity Coordination
Support workshops, cultural events, and academic activities for German learners.
Skills and Competencies
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage academic operations smoothly.
Basic understanding of German language levels and exam systems.
Student friendly and professional approach.
Good coordination and reporting ability.
Qualifications
Graduation or equivalent qualification.
Experience in academic coordination or training institutes preferred.
German language knowledge (A2 or above) is an added advantage.
