Geriatrician

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive medical care to elderly patients. Diagnose and manage age-related conditions such as dementia, arthritis, hypertension, diabetes, mobility issues, etc. Conduct routine check-ups, functional assessments, and cognitive evaluations. Create individualized care plans focusing on chronic disease management and quality of life. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, physiotherapy, dietetics, psychiatry). Guide families/caregivers on patient care, medications, and lifestyle modifications. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to clinical standards.

Requirements:

MBBS + MD/DNB in Geriatrics / General Medicine with experience in elderly care. Valid Medical Council Registration. Strong clinical judgment and experience in managing chronic and age-related conditions. Excellent communication, empathy, and patient-care skills.
