Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer - Concrete & Soil Laboratory (NABL Accredited)Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified

Geotechnical Engineer

to work in our

NABL-accredited Concrete & Soil Testing Laboratory

. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising geotechnical and construction material testing in accordance with relevant IS/ASTM standards and NABL requirements, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesLaboratory & Testing

Conduct and supervise

soil and concrete laboratory tests

, including: Grain size analysis, Atterberg limits, Proctor test CBR, UCS, triaxial, direct shear tests Field density tests Concrete cube/compressive strength tests Cement, aggregate, and admixture testing Ensure testing is performed as per

IS codes / ASTM standards

Maintain calibration and verification of lab equipment as per NABL norms

NABL Compliance & Documentation

Ensure compliance with

NABL (ISO/IEC 17025)

requirements Maintain test records, formats, calibration logs, and quality documents Assist in NABL audits, surveillance, and corrective actions Prepare and review test reports for accuracy and traceability

Field Work & Site Investigations

Supervise soil investigation works (boreholes, SPT, sampling) Coordinate field testing and sample collection Ensure proper handling and identification of samples

Reporting & Analysis

Interpret test results and prepare technical reports Provide geotechnical recommendations for foundations and earthworks Assist in mix design and quality control of concrete

Quality & Safety

Ensure lab safety procedures are followed Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper storage of materials Monitor quality control systems and continuous improvement

Qualification & Experience

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Geotechnical preferred)

2-6 years

experience in

NABL-accredited soil & concrete laboratory

Sound knowledge of

IS codes, ASTM standards, and NABL documentation

Experience in audit handling and technical signatory role (preferred)

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of geotechnical and concrete testing Familiar with NABL documentation and quality systems Good report writing and analytical skills Ability to manage lab technicians and field staff Proficient in MS Excel and reporting formats

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
