Geo-technical Engineer

We are looking for a talented and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join us for exploring and surveying our clients' construction site thoroughly.

You will also be responsible for performing various laboratory tests on soil, rock, and groundwater samples.

You should possess extraordinary knowledge of various climatic conditions and their impact on the projects.

Responsibilities

Developing a strategic investigation plan for the site. Analysing samples such as rock, sand, and similar substances from the site. Analysing the geo-stress which includes capacity and stress levels. Identifying methods and plans for preserving nature and protecting the environment. Providing recommendations for designing the projects based on the investigation performed and identified geological hazards, if any Setting budget and timelines for ground investigations. Managing tasks delegated to Geologists, Geotech Engineers, and other fellow consultants.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or similar field. Work experience as a Geotechnical Engineer, Geologist, Environment Engineer, or a similar position. Expertise in Climatology Proficiency in Geotechnical engineering software such as Geo Studio, Geo5, and Flac3D. Excellent presentation skills and interpersonal skills. Highly organised with keen eye for attention to details, with excellent time-management ability Ability to multi-task. Strong decision-making skills.
