Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Geophysicist with 2 to 5 years of experience in geophysical surveys and data interpretation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in resistivity, conductivity, polarization methods, Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES), profiling, magnetometry, and gravity surveys. Experience with industry-standard models and instruments such as PQWT 500, DDR, SAL, Schlumberger, and reverse array configurations is essential. The candidate will also be responsible for accurate data reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, conduct, and interpret geophysical surveys including: Resistivity and conductivity measurements VES (Vertical Electrical Sounding) and electrical profiling Polarized geophysical methods (IP) Magneticity and gravity data acquisition and processing Operate and interpret data from geophysical instruments including PQWT 500, DDR, SAL or any suitable instruments and Schlumberger and reverse array configurations. Analyse subsurface conditions and prepare geophysical models. Compile, interpret, and report findings in structured and clear technical reports. Collaborate with field technicians and other team members to ensure data accuracy. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards during fieldwork.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or related field. 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in geophysical field surveys and analysis. Proficient in handling geophysical equipment: PQWT 500, DDR, SAL etc. Strong understanding of VES, resistivity profiling, polarization, and gravity/magnetic methods. Skilled in geophysical software and data processing tools. Excellent reporting and documentation skills. Willingness to travel international and conduct fieldwork as required.
