Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) data acquisition and advanced data processing
. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional passionate about subsurface exploration and analysis.
Responsibilities:
Conduct GPR surveys across diverse environments, including urban, industrial, and natural sites.
Process and interpret GPR data using advanced software and techniques.
Support multidisciplinary projects involving utility detection, archaeological investigations, structural integrity assessments, and environmental studies.
Collaborate closely with engineers, archaeologists, surveyors, and environmental scientists to develop accurate subsurface models.
Prepare technical reports and visualizations for clients and project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geophysics, Geoscience, Earth Science, or a related field.
Demonstrated field experience with GPR equipment and methodologies.
Proficiency in GPR data processing software (e.g., GPR-SLICE, RADAN, ReflexW, or similar).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork in a variety of conditions.
Preferred:
Experience in other near-surface geophysical methods (e.g., ERT, magnetometry, seismic).
Familiarity with GIS tools and CAD for mapping and reporting.
Background in utilities, environmental consulting, construction, or archaeology is a plus.
