Project

Mineral Resources Mapping

for state of Odisha, which is being implemented by OMC for the Govt of Odisha. The scope of project covers from baseline data generation (including Airborne Surveys) to resources modeling (G2 Exploration) for various minerals in the state of Odisha.

Role Description

The position of

Geologist

is for

MRM Project of Odisha.

The objectives of the project which are following (but not limited)

Legacy Data and Reports Review and Gap analysis

Identification of Area's of Interest (Prospects), Ground follow-up

Aero geophysical Survey (Mag, EM, Radiometric) and identification of prospective blocks from new set of data

The Geologist will be part of a team of experienced Geologists, Geophysicist and GIS expert to deliver above objectives. She/he will have access to pool of National and International experts to be effectively utilized to achieve the goals at par with world standards

Qualifications:

M.Sc./MSc. (Tech)/ M. Tech in Geology/Applied Geology

Experience:

7+ years of professional experience

in the following areas:

Geological mapping, drilling supervision, logging and sampling

Responsible for field mapping, core logging, geological data interpretation,

Field Geological Mapping and on-site supervision of drilling and sampling

Competency

Field experience in mapping, logging and sampling

Hands on experience of geology resource modelling software such as Surpac, Datamine etc. and GIS software such as ArcGIS, MapInfo

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
