Minimum Qualification


MASTER OF SCIENCE (MSC)



Lead geological and geotechnical investigations for dams, tunnels, surge shafts, and underground caverns. Should be well versed with RMR and Q-system for rock mass classification. Provide construction-phase geological support, including face mapping, rock mass classification, and excavation recommendations. Prepare and review geological reports, drawings, and cross-sections for design validation and regulatory compliance. Well versed with software viz. MS Office, AutoCAD, DIPS. Assess geological hazards such as slope instability, fault zones, and groundwater inflow. Supervise drilling, core logging, and in-situ testing during site investigations. Monitor geological conditions during excavation and suggest mitigation measures. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across design engineering centers and construction sites. Continuously monitor construction methods on-site and adjust as necessary after discussion with team to resolve challenges, improve efficiency, or address unforeseen issues. Participate in tender preparation within defined deadlines, understanding customer requirements, preparing presentations. Periodic site visits for discussion & co-ordination with the project team. Interaction with relevant vendors and evaluation of their technical proposals. Excellent communication and technical documentation skills Keep a record of construction process changes and lessons learned from practical experience Maintain comprehensive records of document & drawing revisions, approvals, and any changes to the project scope. * Prepare technical reports, including site assessments, and post-project analysis.
