We are seeking a qualified and passionate

Geography Teacher

to join our high school faculty for the ICSE curriculum. The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive geography lessons, fostering analytical and spatial thinking, and preparing students for the ICSE board examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver Geography lessons for Grades 9 and 10 as per the ICSE syllabus. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with ICSE standards. Teach topics such as physical geography, human geography, map work, climatic conditions, industries, natural resources, etc. Conduct regular tests, assignments, and examinations to monitor student progress. Use innovative teaching methods including audio-visual aids, field trips, and project-based learning. Provide individual attention to students to help improve their academic performance. Maintain up-to-date student records, including attendance and performance reports. Collaborate with other faculty members and participate in school activities, staff meetings, and training sessions. Guide students in preparing for the ICSE board exams with practice papers, revision strategies, and exam tips. Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Geography (B.A./B.Sc.) or a related field (Master's degree preferred). B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory. Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in a high school, preferably in an ICSE school. In-depth knowledge of the ICSE Geography syllabus. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Ability to use digital tools and online teaching platforms when required. Passionate about teaching and mentoring high school students.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with ICSE board exam preparation. Strong grasp of map-reading and cartography skills. Ability to encourage critical thinking and global awareness. Technologically proficient (use of smart boards, educational apps, etc.)

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
