Job Overview:

Teaching Geography to Classes 9 10 following the CISCE Board curriculum. Basic Requirement: Needs to have the knowledge, competency and interest in teaching the subject. A Masters' degree in Geography or any Social sciences Teaching experience in an ICSE school

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery:

Develop and deliver lessons aligned with the school curriculum and educational standards. Integrate innovative teaching methodologies, including project-based and experiential learning. Use a variety of resources such as maps, digital tools, and fieldwork to enhance learning.

Student Engagement:

Create a classroom environment that promotes active participation and enthusiasm for learning. Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through discussions, debates, and case studies. Provide individualized support to address diverse learning needs.

Assessment and Feedback:

Design and administer assessments, assignments, and projects to evaluate student progress. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve and achieve their academic goals.

Classroom Management:

Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment. Inform SMC for any behavioral issues in accordance with school policies.

Extracurricular Involvement:

Organize or assist with geography-related activities such as clubs or field trips. Encourage student participation in local and global initiatives related to geography and environmental awareness.

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: ₹38,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per month
