About the work from home job/internship
Duration: 4-6 months (flexible)
Location: Remote / Work from home
Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in implementing AI-driven financial algorithms using Python, focusing on integration with OpenAI\'s GPT, and Claude Sonnet models.
2. Collaborate with the team to design and develop machine learning models for financial data analysis and prediction.
3. Participate in daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and plan tasks for the day.
4. Write, test, and debug code for various components of the AI trading system, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
5. Contribute to the development of cloud-based applications, particularly using Azure services for deployment and scaling.
6. Assist in data preprocessing and feature engineering tasks to prepare financial datasets for machine learning models.
7. Help implement and optimise natural language processing (NLP) techniques for analyzing financial news and reports.
8. Collaborate on version control management using Git, including creating branches, merging code, and resolving conflicts.
9. Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and learn from senior team members.
10. Assist in developing and maintaining API integrations with financial data providers.
11. Help create and update technical documentation for various components of the AI financial system.
12. Contribute to developing user interfaces for monitoring and visualizing trading system performance using web technologies like React and JavaScript.
13. Help in implementing risk management features within the financial system.
14. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas for improving the AI financial system\'s performance and functionality.

Other requirements
1. Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
2. Strong programming skills in Python.

5. Keen interest in financial markets.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
8. Experience with NLP techniques.
