Job Title: General Surgeon

Job Responsibilities:

Diagnose and manage surgical conditions in OPD and inpatient settings. Perform general surgical procedures as per hospital scope and guidelines. Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care. Handle surgical emergencies and trauma cases when required. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Ensure patient safety, infection control, and surgical protocols are followed. Coordinate with anesthetists, nurses, and other departments for patient care. Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, procedures, risks, and recovery. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and hospital meetings as required.

Procedure-based remuneration is negotiable and will be finalized based on the surgeon's experience, skill set, and procedural workload.

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

MBBS with

MS (General Surgery)

or DNB (General Surgery). Valid medical registration/license. Relevant clinical experience as a General Surgeon (post-qualification).

Skills & Competencies:

Strong clinical and surgical skills. Ability to manage emergencies independently. Good communication and patient-handling skills. Team-oriented approach and ethical practice.
