Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic

Part-Time GS (General Studies) Teacher

to conduct

online/virtual classes

for students across assigned grades. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge in Social Science disciplines and the ability to deliver concepts clearly through

interactive, student-centric online teaching methods

.

This is a

remote teaching role

and does

not require in-person classes

. All lectures will be conducted through online meeting platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Teach

General Studies (History, Geography, Civics/Political Science, Economics - as applicable)

through virtual classes Plan and deliver

well-structured, engaging online lessons

Simplify concepts using examples, discussions and interactive techniques Prepare digital lesson plans, worksheets, presentations and study materials Conduct online assessments, assignments and evaluations Monitor student progress and maintain academic records Encourage active participation and effective doubt-clearing during sessions Attend virtual academic meetings, training programs and school activities when required
Qualifications & Requirements

Graduation/Post-Graduation in

Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related discipline

B.Ed

or equivalent teaching qualification will be an added advantage Prior teaching experience (online teaching experience preferred) Strong command over GS subjects relevant to school-level curriculum Excellent communication, explanation and classroom management skills Comfortable using online teaching platforms such as

Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams

, etc.
