Position Summary This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to GSK's operations in India. As a General Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of manufacturing processes while maintaining high-quality standards. You will work collaboratively with a team to support production activities, troubleshoot issues, and uphold safety and compliance requirements. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production processes. - Perform routine checks and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal functionality. - Follow established procedures to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. - Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and resolve operational challenges. - Maintain accurate records of production activities and report any deviations or issues. - Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality. Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment operation. - Ability to follow instructions and work in a structured environment. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Willingness to work in a team-oriented setting. - Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: - Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment. - Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or similar standards. - Basic troubleshooting skills for equipment and processes. - Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure. - Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills.
