Experience:
Minimum 15- 20years, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
Job Purpose:
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing daily business operations, improving overall business functions, managing budgets, developing strategic plans, and leading departmental heads to ensure organizational goals are met efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Develop and implement growth strategies and business plans.
Align company goals with departmental targets and performance metrics.
Operational Leadership:
Supervise and guide department heads (Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, Production, etc.).
Monitor and optimize business processes for efficiency and quality.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety, and legal requirements.
Financial Management:
Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts.
Review financial reports and recommend strategies for cost control and revenue growth.
Ensure profitability and financial sustainability of the organization.
People & Team Management:
Hire, train, and evaluate senior staff and key personnel.
Build a positive and accountable workplace culture.
Conduct performance appraisals and succession planning.
Client & Stakeholder Relations:
Foster strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Represent the company in meetings, trade fairs, and industry events.
Reporting:
Provide timely reports and updates to the Board of Directors or Managing Director.
Analyze data to make informed business decisions.
