Summary:The General Manager Vendor Growth will be responsible for driving the expansion, engagement, and success of company's vendor network. This strategic leadership role involves overseeing vendor onboarding, contracting, and performance management to ensure alignment with Pidges operational standards and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Onboarding
  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new last-mile logistics vendors.
  • Design and implement an onboarding strategy to ensure compliance with Pidges
  • quality, efficiency, and delivery standards.
  • Contracting & Expectation Setting
  • Oversee contracting processes, including negotiations, compliance, and risk
  • management.
  • Clearly define and communicate performance expectations, KPIs, and compliance
  • requirements.
  • Vendor Success Management
  • Establish frameworks to monitor vendor performance, satisfaction, and SLA
  • adherence.
  • Act as an escalation point for vendor issues, working with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendor partners.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to capture vendor insights and adapt strategies
  • accordingly.
  • Performance Optimization & Growth
  • Identify opportunities to scale vendor capacity, reduce costs, and optimize
  • performance.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Product, and Data teams to integrate vendor feedback
  • Into process and tech improvements.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Track, analyze, and report vendor performance metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and competitiveness
Requirement:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years experience in vendor management, supply chain, or last-mile logistics.
  • Proven expertise in vendor growth, contracting, and performance management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical, data-driven approach to monitoring and improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
